The story of a life time
That's why loosing someone can hurt so much. Your loosing support, someone that adds to your little group. At least that's why it hurts me.

Dogs will give their life to their owners without a second thought simply because they take care of them. People expect the same with children and parents, but everyone knows thats rarely the case.

Most people seek for love in their life. People want to feel needed and wanted. Because wanting something is ALWAYS the beginning of something and everything. If no-one wanted something Life would be different. No want to survive, no want for a decent life. We wouldn't have electricity, because Benjamin Franklin wouldn't have wanted to prove himself right. No one would be murdered because no one would want that money or them dead. But no-one would want them alive either. That's what separates humans from other creatures. Logically animals only want one thing: To survive. Yet there are two creatures that don't fit into that. Humans, and dogs. Dogs are loyal, and loose their life protecting their owner. Humans live off of emotions. That's what allows us to advance further into technology and life however.
Going back with people loving to be with groups, we also love to hear opinions of the group members. We seek approval from our fellow man. Thats why before doing things like, Getting a job, buying something we ask if you should date someone, what they think of your clothes or girlfriend. By hearing someones approval we feel like we accomplished something. The problem is, some peoples approval are much more important than others. Like ones parents approval versus a friend. Many people would want their parents approval over their friends approval, yet I feel like I get neither. Sometimes people just will NOT approve of you or your actions. We need to understand, as people, that you don't need their approval.

When we look at life logically, then most people get depressed. Like what's the point of life? Where all going to die anyways. and because of that people created religion. So that we could get past that logical barrier. So that we could create hope for our future. But when we look at life emotionally.. It's such a better experience. Try to look at life emotionally. Here's an example of logical:

If I shoot this man he won't ever be a burden to me anymore. But I could get caught, and go to jail. Many years lost, and I might die.

But emotionally:

I feel anger. What will I feel if I end this mans life? Joy? No. Sorrow, regret, guilt. And if I get sent to jail? Scared, Tense, Weak.

Emotionally is a much better way to look. Try looking both, but I think it is best to out weigh logic with emotions, emotions are what got humanity this far, why stop listening to them now?
