I'm sitting in the library across from my roommate, dreading finals. Well, dreading the end utopia. A beautiful boy, a great house always bustling with people and stories and laughs and sex and love and excitement and rejection and tears and fire and ice cold showers and distractions and life. The house always was breathing. SOmetimes slow, deep sighs in the darkest nights when she was too tired. Sometimes warm, fast wisps of encouragement to dance and be lively. and the boy, such a wonderful darling animated boy. Always there to laugh and play and smile. and sing. mostly he's good at smiling. and inducing smiles. Instead of needles, smiles for a cure. is it better to be quiet and studious or loud and wild and party? and why worry? and if that worry's there, what then? stop, and breathe and just go live. right? but never think about what's happening? focus on the future and jump in and live in the moment. but what happens there are those two seconds of reflection, of what if. and what when plans need to be made or friendships broken. put yourself first, right. and dance. smile at ten people a day and eat an apple and take a walk and sleep. sleep sleep. don't forget. comb your hair, you smell, take a shower. don't be late. don't be too sweaty. don't be too slow. don't be too smart, nobody will like you. don't be dumb, they won't pay attention to you. don't be too fat, you're sick. if you're too thin, you're sick. if you're too interested or apathetic or wild or loud or quiet small tall curly smooth scarred moody loving. no. no dice. lovelovelvoelovelvoevlevoevleveolvoelvovel ok ok right? but try it. step outside (for outside is the most important to let the soul fly) and smile and walk and look people in the eye and smile. Eyes are the most interesting because one person can see the other person's soul right down to the very bottom and the second person can see the same thign in the first. and what if animals can see souls, too? yes, animals can, and they can speak soul. humans are too evolved, to modified, we have too many mutations, to many modifications. we've forgotten to speak feelings, to let our souls speak. we're overly proficient in emailfacebooktweetmyspace speaking, and we foget our heart. so when you venture out side don't forget your heart. or your balancebalancebalancebalance. b a l a n c e.
