Replacing Jenna
'Suck it up, Jen.' I tell myself, 'You're over reacting.' I reason.

On second thought. Maybe I'm not. I peer over across the mall food court at Caden showing off with stories of all the amazing crap he can do. Or stories of his friends that know important famous people.

Personally, I think he's full of it; most of the time anyway. Eitherway, I dont particularly enjoy hanging out with him; even more so when Maddy's around. I was originally invited to go with them, but I decided not to. Though, obviously, I came by myself. Just incase Maddy started looking annoyed and in need of saving.

After pondering my emotions for sometime, I've come to think I might not be jelous. Maybe I'm just being over-protective because I sense a threat. Like a mother lioness and over her cubs. Not that Maddy's my cub, but you catch my drift.

Anyway. It's a saturday and they're planning to catch a movie, which I have to sneek in and out of without them noticing me; which calls for a disguise, which I've already prepared. The classic bland hoody, hat, and sunglasses deal. I like it.

I check my watch to see that it's only noon. The movie doesnt start til 1:00.

"Hmmm. . ." I say out loud. "What to do. . ."

Deciding against staying here and stalking Maddy and Caden around the mall, I decide to go down to the arcade and catch up with them later.

Until I see Caden kiss Maddy.

She looked unconfortable to me, and I was beyond pissed. Partly because now I'd have to blow my cover, and partially because he had no business kissing her without her saying so.

With a deep breath I plaster a small on my face and trot over to them with fake happiness.

"Hey guys! Sorry I'm late, mom changed her mind about bringing me."

Let the games begin.
