This could be turning into more of a daily blog and I don't want that. I'm going to delve into plot lines and story type.
A monarch's son; royalty that was gained by reincarnation. Old wrongs righted, a journey into making a better world. Or at least trying. So I have an idea to start with that will be developed provately. Not sure how private this is.
So I've started and am grasping the tribulations that an author goes through on the journey to create a book.
This is harder than I'd imagined. I've seen and read about writers with block who could not offload their ideas onto paper. It's real!
What started off as a grand plan to write the great American novel has degenerated ito an annoying daily reminder email that I have been gently deleting. October?! Whoa! And as much as I enjoy reading I'd have thought that I perhaps might not suck so badly at writing.
The cold blew in last night. Not freezing. But enough to kick on the furnace and dry out the air in the house. All the while raising next month's gas and electric bills. I am so tight-assed these past few years when it comes to energy bills and money in general. need to win that goddamned lotto and live on easy street a while.
So far all good news from the doctor visits Diana has been making. I worry for her so.
Saw an article today about a young lady who makes $2,000,000 a year selling her writing as e-books on Amazon. No publisher at all!
Have written a childrens' book. Just need some artwork to fill it out and it'll be ready to go. As an aside, also had some ideas about erotic short stories.
Wheeling Gulls
Yesterday, as I walked my daily walk, I saw birds in the sky. Too far away to see any single bird. But the dots in the sky wheeled and turned, diving in turn. The colony moved at a pace whose cadence told me "gulls!"
There's some ancientness here. A call from the past, from the salty vibrant sea.
