Divine Intervention
under a heavy fringe of bangs. Angular cheeks set off her face, and part of Noah wanted to grab the nearest camera and take a few pictures before he called security on her. She'd broken in somehow, that much was clear, and he'd never met her before in his life. How did she know his name?
"I am Amanda."

"Like...flew, flew. With wings."
An eyebrow arched, and she fixed him with an even look of tempered exasperation. "Yes, Noah. I flew with wings. My wings, in fact."
"Who are you, again?"
Her hands rested on her hips. "Noah, you've been briefed already. You know these things."
"Briefed by who?" His hand inched towards his cellphone. If he could keep her distracted...
