The fear of James House, however, was negligible compared to the LAB terrors that awaited me. Tables were set up everywhere about everything and anything that took place at Conserve School. Activities, Academic Departments, PTO- you name it, it was there. Arguable the most important, however, was the station where one got their mailbox for the year. I know it seems trivial, but it wasn't until then that Conserve School was official your address- your home.
After all of that came move-in. We followed the loop around until we found Elaine House, one of the two girl's dorms on campus. Inside the doors, holding that first box that was dragged in, I swear I almost fainted. The atrium was more gorgeous than I remember. In front of me, maroon-carpeted stairs led up and split off to the front doors of the two upstairs dorm wings. Between those wings was the two apartment lounges and the upstairs apartments. The lower level was set up much the same way. A door led outside to the student path directly opposite myself. Each wing had a gorgeous representation of the animal it was named after outside of it's door. To the left, I saw the loon. I took a deep breath and stepped forward.
The wings were all identical. When you walked in, there was a kitchen area on the right. Six doors leading to six rooms took up the left side of the wing, the other four rooms were on the right side. A fireplace took up much of the back wall. The wing was filled with tables and comfy chairs, almost screaming "I encourage wing bonding!"
I walked down the side of the wing, looking for the door with my name on it. The third on the left ended my search. Room 160. Loon Wing. Elaine House. Conserve School.
I dumped the box I carried in the empty room and went back out to grab another, but I was in a total trance. I honestly couldn't believe any of this was happening. It seemed to good to be true. Maybe it was. Maybe that's
