But it couldnt be the cat talking to her. Cats couldnt talk unless she was having a very strange dream.She stared deep into its eyes, it cocked its head again as if you would say are you looking at me. She shook her head and rubbed her eyes.The cat meowed again. She picked up the cat and placed it on the ground next to her. slowly she tried to stand, she used the door behind her to help her get to her feet. Numb and stinging they felt. There was a wet spot on the back of her pants.
She glanced around again. She handnt known how long she had been sleeping for, it could have been seconds or hours. But the sky was the same shade as it was when she had closed her eyes. A deep dark gray. Resting her back agaisnt the door she scratched her head.
Could he be home by now? she didnt know.Turning sluggishly around, she began to thump on the door again. The door that was five times her size, the door that was the only baracade to the warmth.All the while the cat was doing circles in and out of her legs.
Still for the second time nocking for over five minutes she was getting frustrated. she leaned her fourhead against the door. Her brain was pounding at this point and this creepy cat wouldnt leave her alone.
"What do you want!" she snapped at the cat who sat down at the tops of her feet. The cat looked at her and rolled its eyes.
"It took long enough" The firey voice sounded annoyed. But it came as clear as day in her brain. she looked down at the cat who was looking up at her with the most displeased look.
"Are you talking to me?" she didnt dare open her mouth afraid she would scream. So the cat had been really talking to her. It looked at her content now that she had recognized that it was talking to her.
"yes" The cat rolled its eyes again. Like she should have known that it had been talking to her this whole time. she bent down to look at it more closely. It brushed up against her leg. she just stared at it perplex that a cat was talking to her. she was even amazed at herself for talking back.
"So I can hear you?" she didnt open her mouth again but let her thoughts flow threw to the cat.she streached out her hand to the cat and it came and rubbed it's head against her fingertips.
"I guess so" it said a purring tone to the crackle of the flame.
"But how can I hear you in my head?" This was the most baffaling thing she had come upon.
