"Jolene?"
"Don't. You. Say. My. Name. You fucking-- you fucking ghost, devil, whatever...what. EVER."
Chuck saw the effect the sand dude's presence was having on her. As curious as he was, Jolene meant more to him.
"You have to leave now. I'm sorry."
"You'll regret this decision greatly, Charles..."
"Yeah. I know. But right now Jo isn't having this."
"This is in Jolene's best interest, Charles," the sand dude had a strange knowing look on his face. Charles nodded and led ________ into the TV room. He was sure Jolene would kill him for it later, but had to see where this would lead.

"Why?" Jolene had walked in at this point. Chuck worked his way in front of the sand dude in hopes that she wouldn't lunge at the both of them.
"I can't tell you the future. I can only give advice."
"What are you talking about?! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE! Charles. Please. Get this...get it out."
"I'm sorry," Charles murmured to the sand dude as he showed him the door.
"So am I."
Charles held his future wife in a way he'd never held her before. She sobbed and sobbed and it seemed as though it would never end.
"He...killed...Sammy," she managed between gasps.
"What? Honey, what are you talking about?" Charles was pretty worried at this point. Jolene just sobbed some more into his chest until she fell asleep.
