VJ has been in the US for 8 days now. He left India (Hyderabad) on 2nd of September, traveled via Mumbai and London (Heathrow Airport) and reached Newark on 3rd Afternoon, local time. The start was really good; But had i written each day to you, you would have known how one foolish step of mine cost me one whole week of my stay at US along with almost 50,000 rupees. Imagine what "I cud have done" with that huge amount of money!!!! But thats all gone now. Won't come back. What remains is the future.
Fooled by a couple of Palestinian shop guys, I ended up buying 2 phones for 1289 dollars!!!! Imagine that!!!! and then just 3 days later, lost an envelope with $480 in it, almost 23,000 rupees. And add to that, Rahul, though as good to me as he can get outside the office, is a serious boss now at work, scolding me every now and then and now has created big fear of my job being in danger. But again thats good.
The end result out of it is: I'll make sure no one even dares to fool me in future. implying strong, serious, no-nonsense personality; Second, take care of money and everything I have with me carefully. Third, don't be a miser in spending. you never know when and how you gonna lose money. Most importantly, treat time and money equally!!! And also words!!!! That's don't be a miser but use judiciously; don't spend anything extra!
Today was good in the sense the visit to Dark Horse was successful. And now, I gonna focus sole;y on work. That means first getting up on time and getting ready in time for breakfast. Wish me luck!!! Good night, dear diary!!! :)
