Mourning Fallen
Day in and day out, I will watch over my darling, glistening guardian angel, however still she be.
With her lifeless wings a pristine pearly white, her halo forever fresh with a sun ray's finish.
She lies underneath me, buried in the tears of the tragic and the floor of the worthy.
Resting she is, waiting for the day she and I can form our unholy union again.

You see, I take the side of demons; my darkened heart pure with bloody, liquid hatred.
Yet my claws lay obediently frozen in her ethereal sight, she: the owner of my tight, gripping leash.
She cools my fangs, soothes my rancor, calms my tortured self with her other-worldly poise.
But with her hushed voice, I'm sure she can no longer restrain my nurtured nature of hell.

Her silence, how it pains me!
These tears cannot stop, this rage will not cease!
How could this universe steal my treasure made of nothing but dreams?
How could they even ponder on retrieving their very own angelic agent from a world looking for her good?

Thieves, that's what they are, but I' am a fellow of wagers and negotiation.
Anything, name the price and it will be yours: I would surrender every soul I have squandered and spent.
I would trade the lives of the luxe, the lacking and anything in between for her returning presence.
For she is worthy of every waking, delicious moment humankind has to offer.

However I'm sure my pleas will go by unnoticed and my requests shall remain unanswered.
Therefore, allow me to dream and wish of a world where she is mine and only mine.
Allow this tired shell to rest his head along the stony bosom of my quiet fallen.
One day, one day I will lie next to you in deathly harmony; in eternal, peaceful slumber.

Forever I'll be your watchful, demonic follower; your enduring, personal hell-hound of the expansive heavens.
Never forget in your departed state: soon enough, once more, I will be your illegal charge.
