I regret to inform you that I will not be able to attend the dual credit Government class at school this Monday or Wednesday. My grandmother, whom I was very close to, passed away on the 18th. Her funeral will take place in Michigan this Tuesday, and I will most likely be gone the entire week due to travel. I'm very sorry to miss your class, but I assure you that I will do all I can to stay on top of my assignments.
I also apologize for such a late notice; I was gone most of the weekend on a school competition and could not send this email until now.
