selfish ex or his blond bimbo. No more cold depressing weather. She could take possession by labor day. That left five weeks to get everything ready to go. She laughed and hugged
herself as she looked at the pile of cash accumulation on the table. She was going to have a new home and a new life on a tropical island. A lighthouse on Baxter's island.

"Are you sure about this Mom?" Michael grabbed the last box out of the moving van and eyed the beat-up lighthouse with disdain.

Toni smiled as she absently rubbed a spot of chipping paint. "Yes. I've never been surer." She pushed open the door for her son.
"Well, at least the inside is in better condition then the exterior."
"It's all good Michael." She pulled a sheet off of what shape looked like a kitchen table and chairs causing a dust cloud to erupt. The place being furnished was a plus, even if the furniture looked
as old as the lighthouse itself.
"I signed the lease at the apartment for six months Mom. You can always change your mind and come back."
"I doubt that I will. even if this property doesn't work out, I doubt that I'll ever go back, but thank you Mikie," She rubbed a hand down his cheek. "Thank you for being there for me, and thank you for for helping me have options."
"I worry about you Mom."
