We've all lost a bit of our humanity. Somewhere along the way, everyone got self-important. Myself included. It sucks. We need to remember to be kind to one another. That is the most important thing you can do as a human being. Be kind to one another.
If we all lived by the golden rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," we would be all set. Would you cut yourself off on the highway? Would you let the elevator door shut on yourself? Would you give your self a nasty attitude at the check out counter?
Most importantly, be most kind to the most important people in your life. We often concentrate on our job and dealing with unpleasant people there with unpleasant tasks and all sorts of other obstacles. We then come home and unload it all on our families and friends. Instead, we need to cherish and hold up those who care about it and treat them with the most kindness we have in our souls.
