Unexpectedly
From day one until now, I still cannot believe how everything turned out to be this way. I met this fine young man who have always been nice to me from the start. He's imperfect, got a lot of flaws but for him meeting me was a turning point in his life. Not only did I cause him to find the way to change but I made his life colorful. But you see, things happen unexpectedly. I can't argue. I can't turn back the time. It's too late.

He used to court my sister. The word "court", is something that not everyone understands so allow me to explain a little bit about it. Over here in the Philippines, where I live, it is considered to be an old tradition. Back in the old days, two people will never be together if the man does not court her first. I've always agreed to that obviously. I love the fact that even before getting into the first level would still entail the guy to do something to convince me. This man has always known me from way back before we even met but only through a social networking site called Facebook. Everyday I would post different statuses on my wall and people would like them or comment whatever they want to say. He would see them all the time of course because it's visible through his News Feed. Yes we were connected as friends but not personally. Among all the people on that site that are connected to me, he never thought about talking to me even once. He would notice, look, click on like and leave. In short, he was just a passerby of my page. I kept talking to people on my wall and I never really thought about talking to him as well. I did see that he was connected to my younger sister and that he was kind of courting her but I never really tried to talk to him even once. I guess we were both fair on that part.

Apart from all those short memories I've had of him, I can remember one day where I saw him somewhere else again. He was on the page that my brother created. I was an admin of the website and one day I was looking around the forum page then I saw his name. I thought he looked familiar so I checked his page. I never thought his name would be as terrible as this! It caught my attention. If no one knew our last names, they would think we were twins. His first name is my own first name's male version and it really amazed me that I found it out. But this did not start up anything, not even a personal connection between us. I added him up and that was it. Too boring a part that I have nothing more to say and the chapter of our story moves on.
