A sense of modesty in dress, conversation and entertainment; not suppressing sensuality, but not baring for all to see. Of course, categorization of modesty is different compared to Terrans (collarbones are as Victorian ankles, so high collars).
Sexual relations with caste Orions is a huge social gaffe, but some societies turn a blind eye to this abuse. Letting a child result is unacceptable even for most of those societies, but again some allow this. However, those who secretly believe in freeing the castes have actual emotional attachment and consider their lover as their spouse, their children as their heirs instead of bastards, but for now dare not say a word and must go to great lengths to hide them.

Terrans are reluctant to deal with either the Orion Alliance or the Orion Territories after disastrous attempts at diplomacy, or mess with the power structures - supplying rebellions or declaring war - because its uncertain just how powerful the Orions' militaries are. They do know that the Orion solar system is rich in metals and the castes provide a large workforce.
The Orion planets tend to be warmer than Earth. In some places it is best that work is done at night during the summer.
Bureaucratic writing system is phonetic, as are the dominant languages. Religious writings tend toward (pictographic? logographic?). Not everyone can speak the bureaucratic language although they mostly can read and write the script.
