The wheels touch down after the plane hovers above the runway. The sudden rush of wind pushing against the plane launches the passengers forward and I imagine the wheels catching fire and sparking. That happens you know.
The screeching and sudden impact wakes the half dazed passengers as they remember this is when life continues.
