awakening
Today is the day. Big day. The day above all else.

There is nothing that has to be done.
It take no effort to be free. Things will be what that are and there can be no tomorrow without today.

Keep Going.
When the time comes to give life lessons to the younger generation, keep going is handed out as if it is completely correct.
"Whatever happens in life, just keep going".
"If you're going through hell, keep going and the devil might not notice you're there".
I have been told this by everyone I know at some point or another. It is standing advice of the ages.
"This too shall pass".
We are obsessed with continuing. Misery or pleasure, we know they are temporary states. Yet as quick as we are to want to keep moving from misery, we also move on from pleasure.
"Life's a journey, not a destination".
What if it's not. What if life isn't a journey. What if we have just been lied to by those before us who were to scared, bored, dumb or uninteresting to realize that life is now. Now is the destination. There is no tomorrow, there is only today. For all I know there might be a tomorrow as much as their might have been a yesterday.

Are things a little bit better than they were yesterday?
