....
Morning, Raining
I have been awake for at least an hour now, though I couldn't tell what time it is for the cloudy sky and the raining has blinded me.
The sea is in front of me, I can see distant thunder clashing, the sound of horrible storm is going on there, it is near. Behind me, is a wild forest, all together formed a mountain of seemingly no limit. On the top of it that I could see muddy clouds floating. I can feel the humid air in my breath, in my lung.
This is all looking unfamiliar to me. I don't know how I got here or why the hell am I having this backpack with me, which contain a Glock 19 and a few cans of soda, beans and luncheon meats. The gun is rather unpolished, it feels like it had been used for an awfully long time without proper cares. I quickly unloaded it and found out I only have 18 bullets left including the extra ammo pack bind on my waist. I really hope I don't have to use any of it.
I was soaked to the skin when I regain my conscious. I don't know how long I have been laying on the sand beach before I woke up nor how did I get here. I am all alone on this vast field, filled with only wildly growing green plants. I am not thinking of staying in this place for long because the storm is heading my way, I could tell by the mild wind and larger rain droplets. I must move now, to find a safe house where the thunder won't catch me.
The feeling of walking mindlessly on the field is inexpressible, I don't even know if there is a place for me to stay, it's just looking all the same to me. The sea and the mountain, the unchanged natural scenery is guiding me to nowhere.
The gun and other stuff now feels like a burden to care, with the rain now adding more weights to my ceramic black nylon backpack, each move take me a bit harder to walk, burning the energy away. I am now wondering around search for anything looks like a place to stay, at least prevent me from the rain first.
It's almost like a hours later that I have spotted an woodhouse on the lower part of a nearby mountain ridge, there was no light in it as far as I could see. I was so excited and cannot contain myself running for that small building. 'Finally!' I exclaimed in my heart. 'It's my lucky day after all'
