Looking out over the sea of flat buildings, Taylor could almost see the spot where her target would be in five minutes. She decided to move quickly, her legs springing her body through the air with ease. Flying over the rooftops reminded her vaguely of watching the birds chase each other through the sky.
Taylor reached the helipad and could hear the sound of the approaching helicopter coming from the north, a small speck of black could be seen just above the horizon. To her left sat scaffolding that ran around the small up jut of brick. Using it as a shelter, Taylor was out of view and able to prepare herself to attack.
The small dot grew larger as the helicopter grew nearer. Inside sat two men. One was the pilot, a 35-year-old with two kids, and the other was the target, who has no kids and is an extremely dangerous man. In his lap there was a black leather briefcase with a silver plate place above the handle bearing the letters G.M.
The helicopter landed on the pad and the man with the briefcase climbed down from his seat. While he was busy fixing his suit, Taylor took her chance. She jumped from her hiding spot, pulling a hidden knife from her bad, lunging for the man. He side stepped her attack and grabbed her arm, pushing her against the side of the unwinding helicopter.
"Did you really think that you could get to me just by hiding behind a wall with a knife?" he said calmly into her ear. Taylor glared at him, his smiling face intensifying her hatred for *his* kind. "You're just a child... and children need to be punished." Taylor sensed movement from behind her, the pilot had left his seat and was standing by the tail of the helicopter with a heavy bat in his hands. He raised it over his head and as the tip came sailing towards her head, Taylor had one thought before everything went black, "I've made a huge mistake."
