When one comes to terms with the fact that the infinite does not exist, one can fully begin to live. The problem is most do not want to settle for the truth, so they continue to create a false sense of self worth that has expanded from generation to generation - moving across various time frames, cultures, groups of people, and individuals alike. Is it really so dreadful to acknowledge we all have the same fate and move on? Most people would be crippled beyond repair if they realized how much time is wasted keeping up appearances while ignoring the internal, leaving it all to be sorted out through the cliched "midlife crisis", which is obviously a man-made term (as all terms are, technically) that serves merely as an excuse to act stupid when the even dumber decisions of youth pile up and explode in one's face. That isn't to say soul searching at an early age is necessarily the answer, as stated before it isn't terribly important.
We should simply learn to live. Love. Learn. Laugh. Forgive. Forget.
