Random Thoughts from a Sad Elf
Do you ever wonder what it's like to be a giraffe? Giraffes are tall. They have spots. Their legs are super long. Their necks are also super long. It would be weird to be a giraffe. Oh, and you're probably thinking, "They all must have some hardcore talent at running." Honestly, giraffes aren't aerodynamic at all, they could trip over their own legs, and it would be hard to see that the ground is uneven since those things are so tall, but somehow they don't seem to have any problems when you see them in movies or on TV.

Speaking of being really tall, it would be funny if a giraffe had a fear of heights. You could make that into a joke I bet. Think about it. Wouldn't it look strange if you were driving around in an African safari jeep and there was just this one Giraffe with it's neck bent down to the ground? An initial thought would be that it is just eating something near the ground but then you'd see it move out of the bushes and realize that it just stays like that. You'd probably be confused and ask the ranger what in the world was up with that giraffe and why he's all bent over like that to which the ranger would say, "Haven't you ever seen a giraffe with a fear of heights?" Then, although you'd understand the joke and find it funny because know giraffes wouldn't get fears of heights, you'd still be really confused.

But then the ranger would be all brutally honest and say something like, "Hahaha I'm just joking with you. He broke his neck somehow and now he's stuck in that position and will either get eaten by lions or die from starvation but even if he does survive long enough for his neck to heal, the bones will set in the way he's positioned right now and his muscles will be significantly weaker than before so he'll probably never be able to move his neck again... Oh look! Another giraffe!" Although horrified by the ranger's honesty, you'd turn to see this other giraffe off in the distance just full out sprinting across the savanna but all of a sudden it trips on something and flips over onto its neck. That's when you just hear this really loud crack and the giraffe screaming. Your ranger drives the jeep over to investigate and when you get there, it stands up and has it's neck broke, bent in the exact same way as the first giraffe you saw.

Well, I guess it turns out not all giraffes are talented at running like you might have thought.
