Chapter Nine
We sailed through the ocean for perhaps half a day. A very uncomfortable half a day, seeing as Adriano and I weren't speaking to each other, and Tim and Ben were trying not to make either of us mad. I struggled to resist the urge to push Adriano off the side of the boat. It was an unpleasant boat ride.

When we finally docked in Tronen I felt like puking, and punching Adriano. Perhaps I would just puke on him. I didn't get to be the best by being lady like in my regurgitation.

I liked Tronen. It was a nice place, with equal rights for both men and women and a year long growing season. Unlike Siroi, which did not have equal rights for men and women and had bitter cold winters. I probably would have moved here years ago, except I didn't want to leave Len and Em, and Dianthus didn't need to function over here.

We were just tying up our boat when shouts of "Hey! You! You aren't supposed to be hear!" Broke through the usual bustle of noise. Wonderful, we had only just set foot in Tronen, and already I was in trouble.

"What the blazes?" Adriano asked, turning around.

"Run!" Ben said, grabbing mine and Tim's wrist, pulling us through the crowd of people.

"What on earth?" Adriano questioned "Why are we running?" he yelled.

"Because if we don't we end up in prison." Ben said.

"Why do they want to put us in prison?" Adriano asked.

"Not you, just me." Ben said, running faster.

"Let go of me!" I instructed him. He let go of my wrist, and I ran forward even faster.

We wove through the winding streets of the port town. Ben must have been here before, becuase
