My name is George Rodriguez. I'm 18 years old and I currently live in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
You don’t know me and I most likely don’t know you. However, I DO KNOW that you are someone special to me because you’ve taken the liberty of giving my novel a chance. For that reason, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This novel, or rather, this project is something quite simple.
It's a game.
Here are the rules:
- Must write one page per day, nothing more and nothing less, starting January 1st to December 31st.
- Must include a significant event of your day.
- There is no restrictions on what to write about.
- Length is whatever you choose it to be.
I don't know why I'm doing this.
Frankly, it could be because I'm bored out of my mind.
I'm home for the holidays and taking a break from cramming useless information into the back of my skull. College has been a total love-hate relationship for me.
Maybe it's because I hate learning.
Maybe it's because I'm so fucking lazy.
Whatever the case, I'm loving this break. Unfortunately, there is nothing to do here in rural Minnesota. I will say that drinking the night away welcoming in the New Year was pretty eventful.
