Tonight, I am going to wait for one of the trains to pass my house. But this time, I'm going to wait by the tracks. I'm going to be close enough to touch one. I'm going to be close enough to jump in an open door. I'm going to ride the train to wherever it's going next. I'll look out from my temporary place, and I'll pretend that I came from nowhere. I'll pretend that I don't have a name. I'll pretend that I'm still young. I'll pretend like I'm going somewhere important. Who will miss me?

I'm going to discover worlds outside of mine. I'm going to find out that there are magical things among us. I'm going to meet many people who are different from me. I'll learn things from others who have been farther than I have. I will learn from other people things that my own past would have never allowed me to experience. I'm going to add every piece of knowledge to my inner library.

I will become infinite. I will become something more than I could have ever imagined. I will become something that I am proud of. I will return to my family and my life a better person. But first, I will have to find my way back.

All it takes is the first step.
