It's a holiday today. The government thought it vital to cancel work and school for the Philippine population to witness the Presidential Inauguration, which is rather futile because I think it's just a little poodle show they're putting on. It's not as if we've elected a first of any kind. Let's be honest. This isn't really as monumental as most people like to think. I suppose this event is what compelled a classmate of mine to ask me if I had any high expectations from the new administration a few days ago. My answer now is the same as my answer then. No. I have absolutely no expectations, positive or negative. Haven't we learned anything from past presidents? All this hope and faith, both blind, just to be let down and disappointed. Yes. I sure could use more letdowns in my life. I am certain that if you possess any intelligence, you caught on to the hint of sarcasm in my last statement. It'll happen, and that's all I can say. New administration, yes, but it doesn't guarantee a new kind of world order, now does it? Bite your tongues and clamp your jaws. I'll sing songs of praise when I see a good reason to. In the meantime, kindly refrain from shoving your convictions down my throat because I have a very strong gag reflex and will take pleasure in vomiting in your face.

It's been very humid lately. The rainy season is very shy this year. I'm not asking for a deluge but regular, moderate rain would be lovely.

Mabuhay ang Pilipinas. Let's see what fuckery this regime will bring.
