Chocolate
So it came down to this. She stood in the doorway, desiring so strongly to not leave, but she had to. He came up to her, and their eyes met. His eyes surprised her. They were suddenly gentle, caring... a look she knew exsisted, but shocked her coming from him. His chocolate eyes actually were living up to their color--sweet. She met his eyes with a cool calmness and she suddenly realized what they were both thinking.*Hug.* The word hung there, almost tangible in the summer air. But it was not to be; her mother stood watching, and afraid of the consequences the girl broke the magic between them with a punch on the shoulder and a playful, "goodbye!"
Once again she was taken off gaurd as his face fell ever so slightly. He returned the punch so gently and affectionately that she truely wondered if she knew him. And in a such a soft, caring, gentle vioce he also told her, "goodbye..."
