I ran my finger over the tattoo on his chest - the bright blue octopus with tentacles stretched to his bicep. My head rests on his shoulder as we lay down on his bed. His hand rested on my hip and i could feel his palm graze the strip of bare skin. I wanted so desperately to climb onto him and express every feeling I’ve ever had for him in any way possible without touching him. My insides were warm and radiating to him. I sighed contently and watched the rain hit the window.
His breath broke for a moment and his fingers froze in its place on my spine. "What is it?" I asked quickly. I sat up and looked at him, watching his far away stare slowly return back to me. "What happened?" I prodded.
"I thought I heard someone," he answered quietly. His eyes drooped again and his breath turned back to normal. "It would have been hard to lie our way out of this one." He laughed nervously.
I chuckled and patted his stomach heartily. "It wouldn't have been that hard," I said as I sat up in the bed. I looked down at him from over my shoulder and smirked. "We should just end this here, if you don't want it to it won't go any further and I can leave and we won't even speak to each other again."
