Nikki watched as her ex-boyfriend walked away. She knew that she missed him so much. Her best friend Grecia told her that he still liked her ,but she was to shy to ask him back out again. They still talked ,but Nikki knew in her heart that she could never ask him out. The reason she couldn't was because she knew that if he never asked her out she couldn't feel right dating him. It didn't matter all that much though. he knew that she was in love with him ,but this was 8th grade. SO many things could happen over the summer she just couldn't risk rejection this time. Anyways she since she was single she could flirt with any guy she wanted. Which wasn't that long a list ,but was long enough for her.
He was always looking for her in the hallway and when she walked by he would always stop and stare at her even if he was talking to his friends. De'Andre knew he was in love with her however he knew she could never love him. She was just so perfect he knew that he could never have her again. This year she was so confident. He just couldn't get up the guts to ask her out.
Gosh, Grecia thought why couldn't her BEST FRIEND Nikki ask De'Andre out. It wasn't like he wouldn't say yes. Why was she so stupid half the time. I mean it wasn't like they hadn't done it before ,but Grecia knew that she would never ask De'Andre out even if he had told her to her face! That he would say yes. She might just have to fix that soon. Yasmin De'Andre's best friend couldn't get him to ask her out either. It seemed like everyone wanted those to to go out ,but they just would not make it happen. Dang what was wrong with them.
Huh, thought Naomi when she heard Nikki talk about how much she loved De'Andre why doesn't she just ask him out. He would say yes she had asked him herself. Those two were the most stubborn people in the entire universe. It seemed like they would both say yes if the other asked them out ,but neither of them would as. Something was DEFINITELY wrong with those two. Then, she decided to do something about it.
"Hey, Grecia you know Nikki and De'Andre like each other right?",asked Naomi.
"Yeah, of course they do", Grecia replied.
"Then why don't we do something about it", Naomi replied.
Then they made their plan.
