The Song of Music
Sleek, nimble fingers slid along the black and white keys of the piano. She whispered along the words to the song, and allowed her dark hair to hang like a shroud to cover her pale but flushed face. She sighed. She knew Madame Ophelia, her instructor, would probably say something close to this.. "Oh Darling, Darling, more practice is what you need..." Her gentle voice would probably seem loving, but with a hint of displeasure.
Karyana sighed, her skin turning as white as ever. Even practicing without Madame Ophelia felt like practicing with her. Kara stood up in disappointment, cleaning up before her mother arrived. Kara's mother was fantastic and gorgeous model-turned-actress. She had paid for music lessons, hoping at least her mistake of a daughter would at least be okay tooting some trumpet or banging some drum.
But Kara chose the piano. The beautiful and magnificent piano. The piano had caught her attention from the beginning with it's majestic yet cleverly artistic sound. But now, as always, she was turning out to be terrible at it. Well, at least to Madame Ophelia.
Kara finished cleaning up, and continued playing, but she looked away from the piano for and gazed out the window of her bedroom to see a beautiful multi-colored sunset. Her bedroom was huge, big enough to hold both her bed, piano, and other things. Kara wished she could have a normal bedroom, but that was the least of it. She wished she could just have a normal life. But then again, that would mean having to give up playing the piano, because Kara was sure she would be terrible without Madame Ophelia's expensive classes.
