Music is perhaps the greatest artistic creation. This is because it's more than just art. It can do more than just be pleasing to the ears. There is another dimension that it has that can touch you deep inside. Something that can speak to everyone, but that may say different things. That is the beauty of music. Sure, the other aspects are beautiful as well. The serene sound of a soft piano, playing an incredible contemporary piece. There is beauty in the soft harmonies that can be created from the raw voice of an a capella group. There is beauty in the fluid lyrics that runs from a rappers mouth. There is beauty in the guitar strums of a band, singing about their loves. Beauty surrounds music, music encases beauty. Beauty flows out of the composer's pen as he releases, from his head, the craziness that makes this beauty. This beauty can bring to us serenity and allow us to think clearly, or think at all. But we often listen to this music and take it for granted. We don't realize how bland the world would be without the beauty of music. But these feeble words cannot describe the beauty created in music. The only was to experience this phenomenon is to listen to the music itself and think. Whether you are listening to the peaceful melodies of Mat Kearney, the powerful raps of Shad, or the serene notes of Ludovico Einaudi, you are experiencing the beauty of music.
