Blue island is a town thats been threw a lot from the slow disappearing act of the Italians and Greeks to the massive population of the Mexican Americans in the community. This town shows what the back bone of america is made out of with hard working blue collar people on every corner. history is all over the town from the historic houses to the parks spread across the city. This is the town i grown up in and i have seen all these changes and it will always be the same town to me.
