Erin was an extraordinary girl.
Now, don't worry. She's not dead or anything. This is just me, Elliott, as I have remembered her.
When I first met Erin, she was so peculiar. And never did she lack peculiarity.
Not so much mysterious - which makes a person seem strange and unapproachable - but if I ever did try to describe her in a single word, it would be Extraordinary.
As for me, I've always perceived myself - and most everyone I've ever known - to be simply ordinary. So far from Erin's bizarreness. My whole life, I've lived in an ordinary town, attended an ordinary school, and up until my senior year, led a fairly ordinary life.
She was fascinating.
