chapter two Evelynne Tanner
"It's perfect!" I said smiling at my new room.
The walls were covered with bookshelves, the walls still had their original paint but we had refreshed it by adding a new coat to top it off. The bed fit into a little corner with a window just above it There were old pictures and paintings on the walls that mom had got with the house that had been downstairs. There was a small black dresser beside my bed with a small lamp on it, and the curtains were a cream color. There were a bunch of books on the shelves, my aunt had bought me one the day her house burnt down. It was an old, original copy of Winnie The Pooh. It fit perfectly in the room and went great with my mom's old Shakespear collection, and her Edger Allen Po biography she bought when she was in high school for a project.
"Well," said mom smiling at me, "I'm glad you like it, but i better get going if you expect us to be able to go into town." She left the room leaving me to stare at the beautiful view out the window. The rom was truly something.
I turned around and walked out of the room shutting the door.
I stepped into Aunt Willa's room to see what she was up to, but she hadn't changed. She was sitting on her cream bed Patting Tibby's head. It had those little buttons on the headboard, and curved at the back like a sleigh. The walls were Lavendar with cream flowers on them. Her curtains were white and lavender, and her bedside tables were glass. She had the room with the walk in closet, so she didnt need a dresser. She was staring out the window lost in thought, i just shook my head sadly.
