I can't believe this; it's so easy, even my students ought to be able to do it. They're always trying to get online anyway; maybe this motivate them to actually beging writing more than the paltry three or four lines they generate when using pen and paper. I actually tried using a similar blog idea earlier in the year, but they found it too difficult to get into and asked if they could go back to their "old school" journals. Live and learn...should I try it again, or just let them continue doing what they've been used to doing? Thry are creatures of habit after all - getting upset if one sits in the "wrong" seat or if I change the order in which I ask them to do their work ("but miss, we always write in journal first!") I'll have to ponder this dilemma, but for now; it's the end of the day and I want to go home and take a nap!
