Heterogeneous vs. Homogeneous: The Significance of Identity
All individuals necessitate some sort of identity; a singular attribute that distinguishes them from the incessant monotony that characterizes modern society. Identity is not an instantaneous development, but rather a collective summarization of our respective circumstances; it formulates the intangible aspect of discernment (as relating to appearance); it is the sole differentiation from being described as an accumulation of organ systems that hold individual functions appropriate to their biological structure.

An acquisition of identity can be established as a source of contentment; in which veritable passion is encountered. The absence of identity signifies conformity towards a collective ideal, rather than the triumph of individualism. Thus, the absence, or lack of identity thereof, equates to absence of opinion. The universe is dynamic in nature; if all human beings were to acquire opinions of an equitable nature, regression would be inevitable. A sense of emotionality must always lay discordant towards the homogeneity that characterizes any societal unit; it is this sole inequality that causes the universe to function. Although a certain cadence is necessary for survival, there must always exist at least a diminutive variation, so that stasis cannot dominate.

Identity can also be utilized as a barrier of sorts, in order to avoid manipulation from people of a lesser intellectual acumen who might possess ulterior, malevolent purposes.

We must proclaim our identity as intellectuals in order to dismantle the homogeneity that characterizes modern society. We must encounter for ourselves the heterogeneity that combats homogeneity, in order to achieve a state of progression (as opposed to regression) and distinguish ourselves as individuals.
