Termination or Inception

All individuals necessitate some sort of identity; a singular attribute that distinguishes them from the incessant monotony that characterizes modern society. Identity is not an instantaneous development, but rather a collective summarization of our respective circumstances; it formulates the intangible aspect of a physical,
discernible appearance; it is the sole differentiation from being described as an accumulation of organ systems that hold individual functions appropriate to their biological structure.
I am an intellectual; thus, my intellectuality constitutes my identity. Since infancy, I have admired every topic that relates to academia. Whereas others also develop these interests in their juvenile naiveté, these developments are eventually corrupted by adolescent modification. However, (and I reiterate) my identity is the singular attribute that distinguishes them from the incessant monotony that characterizes modern society. Since I will forever remain an intellectual, I shall always take proactive efforts to maintain these collective interests, unlike the majority of other members that constitute my generation. (Prime example: Jersey Shore!)
This past June formally terminated my tenure as an underclassman. This upcoming August will commence my Senior year of high school; my imminent high school graduation in June of next year will formally terminate twelve years of public school education. In an effort to capitalize upon my successes as an underclassman, I decided to run for a second term as Mu Alpha Theta president. Unfortunately, I did not acquire the position for the second time. Those responsibilities are now delegated to my vice-president Aqib, whom will now administer the club with my best friend Henrry as Vice-President. (Fortunately, Henrry remained with the same position.)
My tenure as Mu Alpha Theta President shall always remain the crowning achievement of my high school career; it formulates my identity; it is what distinguishes me from the mediocrity that characterizes the majority of individuals that constitute my senior class. Please forgive me for utilizing a condescending tone in the preceding sentence, as my level of intellectual maturity is frequently misunderstood.
As much as I would like to criticize the succeeding administration to fulfill my own individualistic and manipulative desires, I will not perform such an act, for it is not in conjunction in my own beliefs. While the abdication of my position signified termination of some sort, I honestly believe that this is the inception of a novel and grandiose stage in my life.
