untitled writing
The date is Sunday, the first day of October in the year 2017.
My name is Richard, I'm 27 years old and I decided to finally start making money with my writing.
Thankfully I'm not in desperate need of stable income right now and have a lot of free time to try and make some extra cash.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not in this just because I want to make money; I love writing; I love reading and creating new things and I love imagining new stories and creating characters; I love all of this.
I have tried to write before, professionally I mean, but anxiety and fear stopped me; Well, this time it will not stop me; I will not let it stop me.
I have come to realize that I have nothing to lose by creating my pieces at home and sending them to possible publishers, and so, nothing to fear.
Now I will be the first to admit my flaws; I don't take well to critics, I am lazy and interacting with people is not something I'm good at; however, I know I have these flaws to fight with, and so can counteract them; I'm also aware of my qualities, I'm creative, I like creating things and I like to think I am a decent writer.
When writing, I like to enter into a flow, if the flow is broken, well then I take a break, spend some time relaxing or researching and then come back to the page when the creative juices are flowing again.
Tomorrow is Monday and I will write my first short story, something that has been in my head for years, and then I will submit it to some sites in hope of publishing.
I'm also thinking of self-publishing short ebooks in the future.
I know it is going to be hard, especially at the start, but I always loved writing and creating new things in general. So, here I am, giving the first messy steps trying to follow my dreams; so wish me luck.
