I would not call myself an anarchist in the common sense as in someone who wants to create anarchy. But I would in the sense that I am tired at how structured and regulated our society has to be. Why are there so many rules to protect the stupid. Why do I have to be told that taking something that is not mine and killing someone are wrong, shouldn't these things be common sense, do I really need someone to tell me certain things are wrong? The structure does protect us from and at the same time protects idiots. At the same time though it creates lots of space for inefficiencies lots of spots for people to slack and waste resources and time. Take for example the amount of paper that gets used to do certain things because of forms in the government, now think of not the actual forms that get used but the wasted paper that is produced and is never used or is filled out improperly and tossed. The money man-power and time it takes to make those forms could be used for more important things like building homes, clothing, and producing food. Back to paper though, trees are the usual topic that people bring up when discussing the waste of our natural resources but can't but can't this analogy of waste be applied to time and man-power also? The one good thing about making useless paper is that it can be recycled or re-purposed in some way, the time and energy that went into creating that useless paper and into growing that tree though will never be reused they are lost to us. If we could cut down on useless jobs that come about from the creation of structure in our society wouldn't we have more resources for everyone?
What about large areas being governed as a single country? Typically a country has a capital where the head of the country sits and where tax dollars are sent for processing and redistributing to areas that need them to finish projects. Aren't areas near the capital seemingly more prosperous? At what cost? At the cost of the rest of the country. It probably is not completely done on purpose and every measure is probably taken to avoid it but it happens. It happens because when you have people sitting at your door step and asking for something and people sending you letters asking for something who are you going to listen to more often? The closer ones, a governments direct sphere of influence only extends so far. What if a smaller geographic area could govern itself? Send its tax monies to its capital to be spent on its residents! Wouldn't this be easier? Not really I guess eventually territories would over lap and conflicts would happen.... I do not know...
