Waking Up
"If you need any blankets I have some extras in my room" She said pointedly at Dan.
He had already bedded down but Bill was still looking for somewhere to sleep. Sylvia was curled up on the loveseat and he was on the air mattress. It was starting to look like Bill'd have to grab the couch. Untill Jen's obvious booty call got through to him despite his relative thickness socially. Bill began to understand what she meant and followed her.
"Need more blankets." He mumbled through the half dozen beers in his belly. He peaked over the love seat at the door the Dan had discreetly closed. Everyone knew what'd happen next. Drunk-Bill and drunk-Jen would drunkly kiss. It'd be stupid and meaningless and no one would talk about it. No one would be uncomfortable but no one would mention it. Sobering up Rich was thus left with sober Sylvia who had already expressed a strong desire not to have meaningless sex with him. He leaned against her love seat unwilling to let the night die just yet.
"Smoke?" He said
"I'm already out of my pants and the neihbors would be quiet scandalized if they saw the underpants I'm wearing." Slyvia answered
"It's quarter to three, who's up?"
"The creepiest of people, all the more reason not to go out."
"Legit"
"Do you want anything?"
Jen was the first girl he'd ever kissed sober. She was the first girl he'd kissed in broad daylight. She was the first girl he'd ever, if only briefly, conned into dating him. Now not thirty feet from him the silence fron her and his older brother scream at him. It wasn't the first sign, she'd been pressing herself into Bill all night. This just made it real.
"What do you have?" He said trying to sound non-chalant as if he used perscription painkillers recreatitionally all the time.
"Percocet, Vicaden, Hydrocodone" she answered.
"Ummm...a Percocet?"
"Take two and call me in the morning." She joked as she popped them out o the package.
