bell rings. They'll find us soon. You pull back as reluctantly as I let you go. You press your forehead against mine, our ragged breathing melding together. Our arms tighten around each other, the bruising grip of a final goodbye between us. When we pull away we'll both go our seperate ways and act like this was just a dream. Because it can't happen. This can't be for us. But our stolen moment will linger on my mind, playing again and again. I'll fight myself not to think of it when I see you next. I hate it but I'm yours. I have been for a long time. And as much as I know that the next time will be harder to forget, harder to walk away from, I know I'll still follow you.
