I knew she would be mad, but I wondered if she would actually send anyone to the office to get a new class. As curious as I was, I had other things to do. Like preparing for my audition. I had a monologue prepared, one I had been working on almost the whole year. I think it was perfect by now. That meant I only had to find a song to sing for it.

There were so many choices for a song, I realized. Going through my iPod I found many songs that I knew like the back of my hand, songs that would all work well with my voice.
