The Spirit
I have taken charge of my being and am currently working towards the realization of a seemingly impossible goal. I will accomplish this seemingly impossible goal. I must achieve this goal. It is of utmost I have erred continuously throughout my high school career and perhaps did not input my best of my effort at all times. That is acceptable. I am attempting to reconcile with these errors, for they formulate the fundamental principle of human nature. It is within our constitution to err; for perfection is an irrational and fleeting sentiment that withers away with the passing of the days. I do not seek such perfection, for time spent seeking such an unattainable goal can be redirected towards other efforts. A much sagacious use of my time would be rather spent ascertaining

I am inchoate

Do not pledge allegiance to me if you cannot pledge allegiance to yourself; the two principles are equitable in nature

As noted by my physical inception, I was deservedly bestowed with the distinctive qualities of advanced speech and cognitive thought. Yet when I was of meager age, I made the conscious decision to utilize these attributes for the dual advancement of the self and the greater societal good. However, as my reasoning and knowledgeability of the world increased with the passing of the years, I grew apprehensive as to dedicate myself entirely towards the advancement of the societal good. Although collectivism is an important component of any civilization, there must exist a certain sense of individualism that is contained within the constitution of every person: one cannot negate or deny themselves the most simple desires.
As one rises to prominence in such a voracious, hostile environment, one must regard themselves as an individual of utmost importance. One must hold themselves sacred; not privy to the belittlement of constitution that so characterizes such hostility. Dehumanization is unacceptable. We as individuals must hold ourselves sacred. We must hold our accomplishments sacred; to not diminish their value by irrational sentiments (such as: others have attained an even greater level of success; it simply obtains no significance.)
