So I just learned Glassie's essay is not due or if it is we do not know because we still have people who haven't gone yet. Oh well I can still send it, but it needs so much editing it is not so funny. I still don't feel like writing because I am happy or maybe what I want to do is edit. I want to write a story of mine. So here it goes:
Why was it always to late to change her mind? She licked the backstop to her bottom lip ring and looked for her boyfriend. She didn't ask for what he was going to wear and absent mindedly looked for his black t-shirt and jean combo in the bright colored Easter crowd. Then she realized her stupidity. Luke would probably have been whipped and hung if his Catholic church saw his usual style.
New story: Different one
The first word he forbid his sister from saying was love and the first word she forbid him from saying was judgmental. They came to this system of preventing the misuse of words when he was 19 and she was 16. While May hated this system and wanted nothing more to stop using it so she could once more bad mouth him in arguments, their relationship had gotten much better. They fought less, avoided controversial and infuriating subjects and learned finally how to act civil to each other like other siblings.
Not to say that other siblings didn't fight like cat and dogs but at the end of the day if they needed each other, they could go to each other for help. Jason knew if he went to his sister for help she would sabotage him.It happened before. When he asked her to help him find out of this guy liked him, she told the guy he was straight and only thought he was gay was to rebel against their parents. Jason found out the next year that his sister was lesbian, and she was trying to prevent her strict, traditional parents from having to deal with two gay children. It didn't help that May hated the male gay side. She thought they were all whiny brats who didn't realize that if they continued to whine they couldn't accomplish anything. Lesbian, in his sister's eyes, were the true cause to fight for because they had been objectified to fulfill the patriarch society's desire to suppress women into mindless thoughtless slaves.
When he brought cabin boys on ships, his sister replied they were trying to replace women while keep their stupid values. In the end, those cabin boys would support the lesbian cause because they understood how to be objectified.
