I am a secular evolutionist
If the government is the intellectual acumen,
then the dogma of biblical creationism no longer corresponds towards my being
for it is not in accordance with established scientific principle
My physical inception is distinguished by the propagation of water
which equates to the propagation of a particular instilled belief that
is to characterize my train of thought (modifty line?) (will determine train of thought; modify train of thought)
But it is no longer pulchritudinous as its original constitution mandated,
for the vicissitudes of life have deemed it so (modify line?)
Nor can a simplistic literary text define the basic fundament of marriage
for its ambiguity cannot terminate a sanctimonious institution
Everything is of most sincere triviality
The preceding poem was prompted upon the meticulous study of a section of a textbook entailing the conflict of secular evolutionist theory against the established dogmatism of biblical creationism, as well as the separation of church and state. The poem does not talk about the absence of religion nor the disappearance of religion; simply that the vicissitudes of life have stimulated a waning of such instilled belief. One's mortality and humanity do not allow for the extended questioning of the nature of the divine being; however, the sacred literary texts bequeathed unto us free will and the choice to acknowledge the divinity that characterizes our daily affairs. Our mortality should not deny the existence of the divine being, but should garner us the permission to appropriate our beliefs in the divine being.
The poem also gives attention to the issue of same-sex marriage; the ambiguity of a literary text cannot define nor prohibit the sanctity of marriage, for an ambiguous issue cannot combat an ambiguous issue and garner credibiltity; one must be incorrect and the other must be of legitimacy in order for the principle to function.
Modern secular evolutionist theory was formulated by the renowned naturalist Charles Darwin; however, in the history of our nation's judicial system, there has existed a perennial conflict between the legitimacy of this theory and the legitimacy of biblical creationist dogma; which theory is of the proper legitimacy is still uncertain. The issue of divinity is one of great complexity and of sensitivity; however, religion (which often is an issue of irrationality) should never conflict with more severe, rational issues, for each reigns supreme in their respective sphere of influence.
