At sixteen years old you think you've got your entire life in front of you. You start to plan everything that you're going to do in your life: finish school, go to University, travel, ect. You don't exactly stop and think "Damn what if I don't make it to tomorrow?" Or at least not often.
So when you really do die and come back as holographic being you start to get depressed and think about everything that you won't be doing any more and everything that you should have done in your life. Then once you're through that stage you start to remember those old ghost tales about how when a ghost is trapped on earth then it's because they have something that they need to get done.
But just knowing that you're still here for a reason is a little to vague because even as a ghost you're not suppose to know the meaning of life. So I had no idea what I was suppose to do. I spend days wondering the streets and meeting other ghosts that hadn't found what they were suppose to do yet and had done multiple acts to try and leave this earth bound state.
They suggested that I started with the most simple thing, they asked questions about my relationships with people. Where they asked deep and personal questions that I didn't want to answer. But they were nice and friendly and didn't mind. They said that the answers weren't meant to be spoken aloud, just to make me think. I spent that night thinking about things and I realised I pretty much needed to talk to everyone one last time. But I had no idea how I was suppose to do that.
The next day I went and talked to those friendly ghosts again and the conversation went something like this:
"So I've been thinking about what you said, and I need to talk to some people," I said.
"They always do,"one muttered.
"So how am I suppose to talk to them, you know without freaking them out and stuff," I asked.
"Well there are websites that let you said future emails, use them and word them so that it looks like you wrote them when you were alive."
"We can use computers," I asked, astonished.
"Of course, but only at night, which can get annoying sometimes."
"Is there anything else we can do that I should know about?"
"Not really, the stories cover most of it."
"Oh right so we don't have any secert powers or anything?"
"No sorry."
