Zeke gave an exasperated sigh.

"I told your parents that they should have filled both of you in on your heritage. Not just Perry."

"So Perry knew."

"He had to. If he hic-upped the wrong way as a baby, he would change into a dragon. They had to teach him control right from birth. You, I hope, when you come into knowing, you will understand. You will be, who you are meant to be. And as myth would have it, the ruling family will rise up and claim back the planet."

"If I understand you correctly. That's my family?"

"Well, yes. Probably you and your brother."

"My brother and I are going to take on the whole Confederation?"

Zeke nodded. Feeling like a kid instead of a grown man.
