yelled. I rolled my eyes and dropped my book on the grass. Alexa sighed. "Where are you guys going tonight?" she asked us. We all felt kind of bad for her because she had no friends, but it was because she was very touchy and irksom. "Nowhere, Deidre. There was just this party we heard about-" Alexa tried to begin but was interupted. "Who's party?" Deidre asked. I brought myself to my knees then pushed off the ground to gain some kinetic energy to get up on my feet. "My brother's college party. He's letting em invite only a few people. I've already given-" I was interupted as well. "This guy I know is coming in from out of the country. I could bring him with me. I think you'd like him, Autumn." Who in the hell invited Deidre? Who? For some reason Alexa always feels like she's intruding on my house when she comes over. She bites her lip and furrows her eyeborws as if she's sneaking in and trying not to make a sound. I saw her holding onto the door frame as she walked in. "Alexa, just come in. Stop being shy and awkward," I commanded in as nice a tone as I could summon up without sounding like a bitch. She came in a dropped her bag in the corner. "Autumn, are you sure it's alri-" There was a crash of pots and pans just as I closed the door. "Tummy, you're home?" Hunter, my older brother called out from the kitchen. His voice was deep and echoed
