She walked through the trees, her limbs brushing past the leaves. 'I'm dreaming, I must be,' she thought to herself as she look in the vast colorful forest all around her. Purples, blues, and hues of green, orange, and yellow she had only seen in the man made things that surrounded her at home. But here, they were so much more vibrant, they almost made her world seem dull and lifeless.
She paused as she finally came to a path then once decided she stepped onto the path and started toward her left. She moved faster down the path as she heard the sound of voices rising through the thick of the forest. She hadn't seen anyone in this 'dream' of hers for what felt like hours. Her eyes widened as she came upon a beautiful house yet strange house, with a beautiful but strange and very long tea table.
She looked at each of the tables occupants in turn. There was a man not much older than herself with the most vibrant orange hair and bright green eyes that she had ever seen, a hare that picked up the china tea cups and threw them at random, and a sleepy dormouse dozing on scone. As she stepped into view the man with the hat beamed brightly, moving quickly out of his seat and around the table. "Oh Alereia you've finally returned. I would positively know you anywhere. But where did you go? You weren't supposed to go anywhere," the hare cleared his throat, "Hatter," he said in a warning tone to which the man seemed to clam himself and eyed the girl in front of him. She was older than when he last saw her and her light brown hair didn't have the streaks of green in it that he used to be so found of, and she certainly wasn't dressed as someone from Underland should have dressed and yet still he knew her face, the slight upturned nose, the soft cream of her face, her soft grey eyes, and the slight pout of her pale pink lips. He was shocked and shaken to his core when she looked at him with a confused look, "How did you know my name? Do you know me? I'm sorry sir, have we met before?" Each of her words carefully chosen and manners perfect as if she had spent a great deal of time in the Otherlands. His brow furrowed his green eyes shifted to a brilliant orange and in a thick Scottish brogue he uttered, "Ye don't know any of this anymore do ye lass?"
