Tales of Violet City
"Remember son, keep an eye out at all times. There is no telling who will be there to attack or help you unless you keep a lookout," Jacob remembered as he was waiting for the subway train. "Maybe I should stop by my old man's place, I'm sure he'd enjoy a familiar face after all these years." Jacob smiled as the train pulled into the station and its doors opened, he got onto the train and took a seat quickly so he wouldn't have to stand. He smiled and leaned back with his hands behind his head and tail stuffed behind him and behind his head, "I'm so glad to be a squirrel, makes it so much easier to get around the city sometimes." Jacob closed his eyes and rested as he waited for the train to arrive at his destination, Kersey Street Station.

It wasn't even an hour before something struck Jacob on the head, not hard enough to hurt but more than enough to awaken him and he was pissed, "What the hell just hit me!?" Jacob looked up and saw a Tiger in a suit holding a briefcase standing just a few feet away looking down at the angry squirrel, "Sorry, I'm not used to riding the subway. I usually drive, but my car decided to break down yesterday." Jacob sighed and shook off the small bump to his head. "It's cool, just please don't let it happen again. I'm on my way to my pop's place on King Drive," the tiger smiled and chuckled a little. "That's just a bit off Kersey, and not too far from where I work actually. Why on earth would your dad live there?" Jacob shook his head and smiled up at the tiger, "My dad really likes to live in weird areas, last time it was in a desert and the time before that he lived as a hobo a few cities east of here."

The two passed time talking a bit more about themselves and what they liked in the city, favorite restaurants, favorite theaters and what night clubs they frequent. "No way, you hang out at JD's too?" The tiger nodded and smiled, "It's the only night club I found that knows how to make a good Mind Crush, and the guys there aren't too bad looking either." Jacob chuckled and responded with a bit of a joking voice, "I'll drink to that, if you're buying." "How does Friday sound," the tiger asked with a smirk. "Sounds like it's a date, what's your name before I forget to ask?" "I'm Jason Dillard, you?" "Jacob Fredrickson, it's good to meet you JD," he said as he extended his hand, meeting Jason's in a handshake. "Good to meet you too, Jake," Jason looked down at Jacob and smiled as he planned out Friday as the train pulled into Kersey Station. "Mind if I walk you to your job JD?" "Not at all Jake, though you'll miss King if you go too far," Jason said with a bit of a chuckle.
