A day in my life
The clock is ticking away as both hands seem to meet each other on the number twelve. I had spent this morning wondering why it took so long for noonday to arrive. Breakfast had not been too hefty, especially since I had gone to bed late last night and subsequently awaken later than usual. So in an effort to get to work on time I had to sacrifice a comfortable meal. It was not simply the circumstance of a shortened breakfast, but the weather seem to play a part too. I had gotten up to a dull and gloomy sky, the kind that circulates the atmosphere just before a hurricane or storm. By looking outside, I had a feeling it was going to be a very complicated and disappointing day, as for some reason I felt trapped inside a tightly cupped world with hardly enough air to properly inhale. Today was one of the days thanked God for the sunshine, although in the past it had seem nothing clear of an irritant.
